Key Responsibilities
- Liaise daily with the culinary team to coordinate all aspects of food production, set ups and service timings.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to high standards, ensuring presentation and taste consistently exceed guest expectations.
- Understand and accommodate guest requirements, including a strong awareness of special dietary needs.
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with stock control, ingredient sourcing, and supplier coordination to ensure product availability and freshness.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new and creative menu items.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS), hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-stocked.
About you
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef or Cook.
- Confident working in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional food and service.
- Strong understanding of dietary requirements.
- Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP guidelines.
- Flexible availability.
