About the Opportunity
Fleck Group is seeking a highly experienced and reliable Dozer Operator to join our growing earthmoving team on a full-time basis.
This position will primarily involve operating D6 and D8 size dozers, including Komatsu and John Deere machinery, across a variety of civil construction and earthmoving projects throughout Sydney and Greater Sydney.
The successful applicant must also have excavator operating experience, as the role will involve jumping onto excavators from time to time when required.
We are looking for someone who knows their machinery, is confident using GPS machine control systems, takes pride in their work and is seeking a secure, long-term position with a growing company.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Proven experience operating D6 and D8 size dozers.
- Experience operating Komatsu and John Deere dozers.
- GPS machine control experience – essential.
- Excavator operating experience – essential.li>
- Strong experience in bulk earthworks, detailed trimming, grading and civil construction.
- Relevant machinery competencies/tickets and a current White Card.
- Current driver's licence.
- A strong understanding of workplace safety and machinery care.
- The ability to work independently, follow site instructions and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- A reliable attitude, good work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
