About the role
Join our electrical manufacturing team and gain practical experience while working towards your qualification. You'll receive guidance and supervision from experienced electricians, with Flavourtech covering the costs associated with obtaining your qualification.
Under supervision, you'll learn to:
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical drawings.
- Measure and prepare installation points.
- Connect wires and cables to terminals and connectors.
- Build and install electrical switchboards and control panels.
- Test circuits, identify faults and carry out repairs.
- Install and maintain electrical circuits and wiring.
- Follow safe work practices and workplace procedures.
About you
You're practical, curious and keen to learn, with an interest in how electrical systems work.
You'll bring:
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
- A current Class C driver's licence.
- White card- Essential
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- An organised approach and a willingness to follow instructions.
- Reliability, initiative and a commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
- The ability to work well in a team and follow safety requirements.
- Willingness to undertake occasional domestic travel, a few times per year.
