Leading Hand Steel Fixer FIFO - New Positions, New Projects - Goldfields and WA site
We have multiple new projects - 2:1 or 3:1 rosters, FIFO from Perth.
- Long term, Ongoing work, stable 2:1 or 3:1 swings
- Salary Sacrifice and travel allowance available for east coast. East Coast flights are not included.
- Scope of work: Civil Construction on Gold Mines - crusher/mill/plant construction or similar experience highly regarded
Flanco are seeking experienced Leading Hand Steel Fixer to join our team. With Form-Reo-Pour construction experience within the WA Mining Sector and S26 certification highly regarded (or willing to obtain).
About Us
Flanco - a Tasmea company, are a growing civil construction company servicing the mining & resources sector with various ongoing projects running nationwide with a Perth and Goldfields division.
Our projects generally run from 3-6 months with crews moving from project to project providing variety and ongoing work. Common scope of works would be mills, crushers, concrete thickeners, conveyor footings and stockyards, tunnels, power stations and paste plants.
Flanco runs lean on the ground with small to medium size crews from 5-30. All rounders and candidates who demonstrate longevity in employment, have strong work ethic and team attitude who enjoy working alongside and helping out other concreters, steel fixers and operators will be highly regarded.
About You
- Experience in a similar civil/mining infrastructure role - scope of works crushers, mills, thickeners, plant
- S26 or willingness to obtain
- Steel Fixing: Minimum 5-10 years experience
- Willing to be hands on - Form Reo Pour works - earthmoving tickets & all rounder experience formwork and concreting - advantageous
- Clean National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain - Gold mine sites
- Minimum Manual C Class Driver's License. HR license preferred but not essential.
- White Card
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and LAB Drug and Alcohol prior to start work and ongoing during employment
