Underground Coal Mine Electricians - Bord and Pillar
Carborough Downs underground Bord and Pillar mine is located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, approximately 30km north-east of Moranbah and 160km from Mackay and forms part of the broader Argo Complex.
This integrated mining complex includes the Ironbark Longwall Mine and Broadlea Open Cut, as well as a centralised Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP), where collaboration between our sites and teams is key to delivering safe and efficient outcomes.

WHAT CAN YOU BRING?
- Demonstrated recent experience working as an underground coal mine Electrician;
- A Queensland Electrical License;
- A strong commitment to safety — looking after yourself and your crew comes first!
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
- Hold a current drivers licence;
- Relevant Trade Qualifications and Tickets.
- Hold a current Standard 11 Surface and Underground.
