At Fitness Passport, we are driven by a clear purpose — to make fitness more accessible, so more people can lead active and healthier lives. Established in 2006, we’re a corporate health and fitness program partnering with the public sector, corporate employers, and leading fitness facilities across Australia and New Zealand, providing members with access to a wide range of gyms and wellness resources.

As we enter an exciting new phase of growth, Fitness Passport is executing an ambitious strategy while keeping our member experience a top priority.

The Role:

Fitness Passport is growing fast — and our Finance team is at the heart of the decisions that drive that growth. We're looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis function, working closely with our FP&A Manager and senior leadership to turn financial and commercial data into insights that shape the business. This is a great opportunity for an analytically minded finance professional who wants genuine exposure to strategic decision-making, not just number-crunching. You’ll partner directly with the senior leadership team and get visibility across the full business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will begin your role by running / maintaining and continuous improvement of existing forecast models and assist in monthly reporting.
  • As you progress your understanding of the business, you will progressively have higher involvement in intra-year reforecasting, annual budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis / projects.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring our business performance, including analysis of variances between actuals and budget, and work closely with the Manager and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on actionable recommendations.
  • Your day-to-day will involve working with detailed excel model, building scalable (reusable) SQL queries and workbooks, and leveraging AI to boost productivity where applicable.
  • You will not do your work in isolation: this role sits central to decision making and will require you to work cross-functionally with business development (sales), network development (partnerships), operations (membership management), product and technology.

About You:

  • Technical experiences: Strong command of corporate finance tools, including advanced Excel skills for financial modelling. You are experienced in building driver-based models, sensitivity analysis, indirect cash flow, balance sheet.
  • Experienced in working with data: efficient SQL queries, Python loops, abstractions, reusable scripts / notebooks.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team: Stakeholder engagement: you build trust and influence across teams, from analysts to the exec.
  • Analytical rigour: sharp, structured problem-solving you can apply to any dataset or business question.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Commercial acumen: you connect the numbers to the business, spotting opportunities and risks others miss. Data curious.

What You’ll Love:

We’re proud of our culture, and even prouder of the people who make it what it is. At Fitness Passport, we’re not just about providing access to great gyms and wellness facilities — we’ve also created a fantastic place to work. Our company values of Collaboration, Growth, Respect, Integrity and Wellbeing define our culture and the principles we use to operate our business.

We don’t just talk about wellness - we live it! Our BeneFit Passport Rewards Program and values-driven culture support your well-being inside and outside of work.

Here’s what’s waiting for you:

  • Your very own Fitness Passport membership – access thousands of fitness facilities because we believe in what we offer.
  • 3 paid well-being days per year – because rest and recharge matter.
  • Hybrid & flexible work – our Sydney-based team enjoys three days a week in our new head office.
  • Generous WFH allowance to support our hybrid model.
  • Ongoing wellness perks – think fitness challenges, guest speakers, and more.
  • Paid parental leave to support you and your family.
  • Mental health support through Clear Head & our Employee Assistance Program.
  • Rewards & recognition – Earn Hero Points and get rewarded for your impact!
  • Regular social events to stay connected and celebrate wins.
  • ‘Pawesome’ incentives like bring your dog to work day.
