About the role
Ideally based in Newcastle, we’re looking for a motivated professional to join our PeriAnaesthesia team on a 6 month maternity leave contract, supporting Newcastle and surrounding regional areas.
At the heart of this role is our mission of improving patient care and outcomes. You’ll work closely with anaesthetists, nurses and theatre teams to provide clinical education and support the adoption of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare technologies in the perioperative environment.
In this role, you will:
- Build strong relationships with anaesthetists, nurses and other theatre stakeholders
- Provide clinical education and high-level technical support
- Identify and develop opportunities for product evaluations
- Support customers through evaluation, adoption and implementationDevelop relationships with key opinion leaders in anaesthesia and surgical disciplines
- Work closely with the wider PeriAnaesthesia team to grow the territory and improve patient care and outcomes
About you
You may already have experience in medical sales, or you may come from a nursing, clinical or technical background and be interested in taking your experience into a commercial role.
Either way, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in the theatre environment and is resilient and adaptable in a dynamic clinical setting
- Can confidently engage in robust clinical discussions with anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals
- Is keen to continually develop their clinical and sales knowledge
- Builds strong, trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Is curious, self-motivated and willing to learn
Previous medical sales experience is advantageous but not essential. We’ll provide you with the product, clinical and sales knowledge needed to succeed in the role.
You’ll join a dedicated and energetic team and have the opportunity to make an immediate contribution to the continued growth of our PeriAnaesthesia business.
