- We are currently seeking motivated
- Stabilisation Operatives to join our team based from our
Maddington Depot .
Working across a variety of road construction and pavement rehabilitation projects, you'll support stabilisation crews on projects throughout regional Western Australia while enjoying ongoing training, competitive pay and genuine career progression opportunities.
Whether you have experience in road construction, civil works, earthmoving, plant operation or are looking to further develop your skills in the infrastructure industry, we'd like to hear from you.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with road stabilisation and pavement rehabilitation projects
- Operating plant and equipment where qualified and trained
- Supporting stabilisation crews with labouring and construction activities
- Conducting pre-start checks and maintaining equipment
- Working safely in accordance with Downer's Zero Harm culture
- Travelling to regional project locations as required
- Contributing to the successful delivery of road infrastructure projects across Western Australia
- What You'll Bring
- HR Truck Licence preferred
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Experience in road construction, civil construction, stabilisation, asphalt or earthmoving environments
- Experience operating construction plant and equipment is highly regarded
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to undertake hands-on physical work
- Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required
