Fin XL is seeking a Service Now Lead Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a 12 months contract in Sydney CBD.
This position combines hands-on expertise with engineering leadership to drive HR digital transformation across an enterprise environment.
You will serve as the hands-on architectural anchor for human resources technology solutions, shaping platform direction while embedding best practices and embedding AI-driven capabilities to optimize global employee experience.
Service Now HRSD, Java Script and web services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end enterprise Service Now HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions aligned with corporate HR strategy.
- Define engineering patterns, code standards, and platform governance across the delivery team.
- Drive the adoption of AI-driven capabilities and intelligent automation to streamline complex employee workflows.
- Design, build, and maintain robust, secure enterprise integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
- Partner with senior technology and HR leadership to translate complex business needs into scalable technical designs.
- Key Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Service Now solutions, with deep expertise in HRSD.
- Advanced proficiency in Java Script and core Service Now development, with a track record of setting architecture standards.
- Strong technical experience engineering complex system integrations leveraging REST and SOAP protocols.
- Demonstrated exposure to incorporating AI tools and automated workflows to increase engineering and operational efficiency.
- Proven technical leadership experience, with the capability to influence technical roadmap and challenge traditional methodologies.
- In-depth understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security compliance, and data governance standards.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with a strong strategic mindset and problem-solving drive.
