We are currently seeking a Microsoft Azure Virtual desktop SME - Cloud Engineer to create a Proof of concept- POC and help design a solution for the migration of Citrix to AVD.
Skills and Experience
- Microsoft Azure Virtual desktop SME - Cloud Engineer background
- Experience in creating a Proof of concept- POC and help design a solution for the migration of Citrix to AVD
- Must be an Australian Citizen and able to pass a Baseline Security Clearance
- Experience in the implementation, optimisation, support & governance of Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
- Experience providing technical expertise across engineering, operations, security, cost management & service transition activities to ensure a secure, scalable, reliable & cost-effective virtual desktop platform.
- Experience defining host pool strategies, image management standards, FSLogix profiles, application delivery methods & identity integration.
- Experience deploying & configuring AVD environments across development, test & production environments.
- Experience Implementing & managing Microsoft Azure services supporting AVD, including: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune & Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Experience developing automation using Power Shell, ARM Templates, Bicep, Azure Dev Ops or Terraform.
- Experience developing, collaborating & implementing gold image management & application packaging processes.
