We are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to join our busy team and provide essential support across our day-to-day operations. This is a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, so we are looking for someone who is highly organised, confident, proactive and able to keep things moving when there are multiple priorities happening at once.

About the Role

Working closely with our management, production and installation teams, you will assist with the coordination and administration of our projects from production through to installation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Booking and coordinating trades and installers
  • Scheduling jobs and coordinating installation dates
  • Ordering materials, hardware and products from suppliers
  • Following up suppliers and tracking orders
  • Coordinating deliveries and ensuring products arrive when required
  • Assisting with production and installation scheduling
  • Communicating with trades, suppliers, clients and our internal team
  • Preparing and sending purchase orders
  • Checking orders, deliveries and invoices
  • Following up outstanding items and keeping projects on track
  • Maintaining accurate project and job records
  • Assisting with general office administration
  • Supporting the team with whatever needs to be done to keep the business running smoothly

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised and exceptionally good at prioritising
  • Can confidently manage multiple jobs and deadlines at once
  • Is comfortable working in a high-pressure, quick-paced environment
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Is proactive and doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done
  • Has strong communication skills and is confident speaking with trades and suppliers
  • Can pick up the phone and get things sorted
  • Is reliable, practical and solutions-focused
  • Can remain calm when plans change or things don't go to plan
  • Has good computer skills and is comfortable learning new systems
  • Takes ownership of their work and follows tasks through to completion

Experience

Experience in construction, cabinetry, building, trades, manufacturing, project administration or a similar environment would be highly regarded. You don't necessarily need to have worked in cabinetry before. What's most important is that you are organised, capable, quick-thinking and comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change throughout the day.

What We Offer

  • Join a well-established family business
  • Work alongside an experienced and supportive team
  • Varied role with plenty of responsibility
  • Opportunity to develop your skills within the construction and cabinetry industry
  • A workplace where initiative and getting things done are valued

The Person We Are Looking For

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys being busy, solving problems and keeping things organised. If you are the type of person who sees something that needs doing and just gets it done, we'd love to hear from you.
