We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Welder to join a busy manufacturing team based in Cranbourne West. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality products in a workshop environment.
About the Role
Working within a specialised production team, you will be responsible for welding components used in the manufacture of roof rail products. The role involves a combination of welding, product finishing, and quality-focused workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Welding components to production specifications
- Working with small fabricated parts and assemblies
- Cleaning and finishing welded products using grinders
- Preparing products for final inspection
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Following quality and safety procedures at all times
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous welding experience
- Good attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transport and a positive attitude
- Ability to comfortably handle products up to 10-15kg
