Fetch Recruitment are looking for skilled & experienced cabinet makers to join one of our clients in an established commercial joinery business based in Preston, specialising in high-end custom joinery and commercial fit-outs.
The Role : You’ll be responsible for taking commercial joinery from drawings through to a high-quality finished product.
Your day-to-day work will include
- Reading architectural and shop drawings
- Measuring, cutting and assembling commercial cabinetry
- Manufacturing custom and detailed joinery
- Working with timber, veneer, laminate and other premium materials
- Building counters and reception desks
- Manufacturing banquette seating
- Working on curved and detailed joinery
- Laminating and veneering
- Fitting hinges, runners and specialist hardware
- Working independently and as part of a team
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial joinery experience
- Confident reading drawings and working to specifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction and hardware
- Experience with counters, reception desks and banquette seating
- Experience with curved work, laminating and veneering
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organised and proud of your workmanship
- Full tool kit
