We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team at the Ferntree Gully Bowling Club on a casual basis. As our Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering delicious meals to our members and guests. This is a great opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a vibrant, community-focused environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality meals and dishes
- Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
- Collaborating with the management team to develop and enhance the menu
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to our members and guests
What we’re looking for:
- Approx 20 hours per week and potential to cover holidays when required
- Would suit a Chef looking for a second job or extra hours
- Formal culinary qualifications or equivalent experience as a Chef
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer service
- Positive attitude with strong work ethic
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability to work Evenings and Saturday nights
