The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, qualified carpenter who has leading hand experience or is ready to take the next step into a hands-on team leader role. Working closely with Nat, our builder and director, you'll play an important role in keeping the project running smoothly, maintaining high standards and helping coordinate the day-to-day work on site for the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the tools but also shows initiative and confidence to take ownership, think ahead and help lead the team.
- You will need to be able to work well in a small team, work independently and communicate well with other trades and suppliers.
- You will be carrying out high-quality carpentry.
- Helping organise daily site activities and keeping tasks on track.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and other trades to keep the workflow moving.
- Maintaining a clean, organised safe worksite.
- Communicating clearly with Nat and the team.
- Taking responsibility of your work and following through on commitments.
What we are looking for:
- You're an experienced carpenter who takes pride in their work.
- You don't need someone looking over your shoulder and can see what needs doing, plan ahead and get the task at hand done.
- Experience working in high-end residential projects.
- Strong communication skills and practical problem solving solutions.
- Reliable, accountable with an organised approach.
- Your own vehicle, tools, and relevant licenses.
- Be able to read and interpret architectural plans.
