About The Claremont Hotel: Affectionately known as "The Mont," the Claremont Hotel is a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. What you can expect in a day in the role: In this role, you will be responsible for attending to inquiries from our guests, preparing and dispensing beverages, running food, and taking orders, all with exceptional customer service.
- Assisting patrons with both food and beverage orders, inquiries, and complaints
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Taking orders and running food to tables
- Assist with large groups or bookings
- Assisting with the opening and closing of the bistro
What you will bring to the role: Our ideal candidate will thrive in a busy environment, have a passion for the industry, and provide excellent customer service. We are also looking for:
- Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
- An understanding of food & beverage products and services
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
- Ability to work a variety of night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
- Have a "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn
