We are seeking an experienced CNC / Waterjet Operator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working with natural and engineered stone who takes pride in precision, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship. You will be responsible for operating CNC and waterjet machinery to cut and shape stone materials for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and/or waterjet machinery to cut and shape stone materials including granite, marble, and engineered stone
- Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
- Program and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting and finishing
- Conduct quality checks on finished pieces to ensure they meet specifications
- Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshooting when required
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and WHS requirements
- Work collaboratively with the production and installation teams
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC or waterjet machinery in the stone industry (essential)
- Experience working with natural stone, engineered stone, or porcelain
- Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and strong work ethic
