The Office Hotel is a busy venue with great energy, and our kitchen is at the heart of it. We're looking for a talented, motivated Junior Sous Chef to join the team, working closely with our Head Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly and the food coming out right every time. If you're an experienced CDP ready for your next step, or a Junior Sous looking for a kitchen where you can grow, this is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills and build a long-term career with a company that promotes from within.
The role:
- Support the Head Chef in running the kitchen day to day
- Lead, coach and motivate the kitchen team on shift
- Help maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Assist with ordering, stock control, rostering and menu execution
- Make sure food safety, hygiene and WHS standards are always met
