Our client is a well-established heavy vehicle workshop based in Banyo, Brisbane, specialising in the repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers and buses. With a strong reputation across Queensland, they provide expert mechanical, clutch, brake and suspension services.
About the Role
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of commercial vehicles including trucks, trailers and buses. Working in a fully equipped workshop, you'll carry out high-quality repairs while ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards.

- Up to $55.00 per hour casual
- Monday to Friday roster with overtime available
- 7:00am-4:00pm standard hours (6:00am starts available for OT)
- Weekend work available when required

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on heavy vehicles
- Perform servicing, maintenance and preventative repairs
- Repair and replace suspension, clutch and brake components
- Complete inspections and identify additional repair requirements
- Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation
- Work safely while maintaining a clean and organised workshop
About You
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic
- Previous experience working on trucks, trailers or buses
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience across a range of American, European and Japanese vehicles (desirable)
- Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
