Are you an experienced fabricator or Leading Hand ready to take the next step in your career?
We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a factory team at a busy manufacturing and fabrication facility in Pendle Hill.
This is a great opportunity for someone who understands fabrication, enjoys working on the factory floor and can keep a team organised, productive and working safely.
You will oversee daily production, allocate jobs, monitor quality and work closely with the Production Manager to ensure orders are completed on time.
What's on offer?
- $45 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm
- Full-time, ongoing opportunity
- Work locally in Pendle Hill
- Take ownership of daily factory operations and lead a fabrication team
What will you be doing?
- Supervise and support the fabrication team on the factory floor.
- Allocate jobs and organise daily workloads to meet production deadlines.
- Read technical drawings and ensure work meets job specifications.
- Monitor production progress, workmanship and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager and Planner on job priorities.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
What we're looking for
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication or a similar factory environment.
- Previous experience leading a team, supervising workers or allocating jobs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality requirements.
- Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A trade qualification and textile fabrication experience will be highly regarded. Experience as a Leading Hand, Workshop Supervisor or Senior Fabricator looking to step into a supervisory position is also encouraged.
