Explore Industries Australia Pty Ltd is a family-owned, dynamic, customer-focused manufacturing company based in Yatala on the Gold Coast. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Dangerous Goods Store Person to join our team on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining the safe daily operations of the Dangerous Goods Store
- Working in an efficient and effective manner to meet production requirements while achieving quality and safety standards
- Supporting the Production and Quality Managers to ensure daily production activities are met to achieve business targets
- Receiving, testing, recording and storing resins and related chemicals
- Supporting production teams with technical issues with resins
- Undertaking regular stocktakes and reporting
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a Store Person role, preferably in the manufacturing or dangerous goods industries
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour tasks
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work culture
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
- An understanding of catalyst and resin properties is preferred but not essential
