Exodas is a well established and growing transport and logistics company operating along the East Coast of Australia for 24 years, with depots/yards in Melbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Yatala (Head Office), Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced 2IC to join the team at our Warnervale cold storage facility where you will be dealing with frozen, chilled and ambient warehousing and distribution for three major national companies, along with other customers. Additionally, you will from time to time direct the local PUD drivers for movement of stock in and out of the warehouse. Permanent full-time position - Monday to Friday.
About You
- ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Understanding of HACCP requirements and safe food handling principles
- Previous supervisory experience in a cold storage facility
- Attention to detail and solid communication skills
- Excellent time management (self and others) skills
- Forklift licence and experience
- Basic computer literacy
- DESIRABLE SKILLS
- High reach forklift experience
