You'll take ownership of a broad range of client service and advice implementation responsibilities, working closely with financial advisers and clients to ensure advice is implemented accurately, efficiently and with genuine care.
Key responsibilities
- Managing the implementation of advice for new and existing clients
- Completing post-implementation checks and following matters through to completion
- Preparing client meeting documentation and maintaining accurate file notes
- Managing ongoing client administration and enquiries
- Liaising with superannuation funds, investment platforms, insurers, Centrelink and other external providers
- Managing workflows, outstanding tasks and follow-ups
- Scheduling and confirming client appointments and assisting with adviser diary management
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with procedures and regulatory obligations
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall client experience
About you
- Previous experience in a Client Service Officer, Adviser Support or similar financial planning role
- Experience implementing financial advice and dealing with investment and superannuation platforms
- A sound understanding of financial planning compliance and documentation requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right
- Strong organisational and workflow-management skills
- Confidence communicating with clients, advisers and external providers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and work independently without needing constant direction
- A positive, practical approach and a willingness to help the team when needed
