Our client is a leading commercial laundry company looking for reliable and physically capable Factory Labourers to join their team in Footscray.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suited to candidates with experience in warehousing, factory, food production, manufacturing, laundry or general labouring environments.
Duties include:
- Sorting and handling linen and laundry
- Placing linen and laundry into automated industrial ironing machines
- Pulling longer sheets and linen from trolleys and feeding them into the machines
- Hanging and positioning linen correctly for automated processing
- Manual folding and handling of finished linen
- Pushing and moving heavy linen trolleys
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
To be successful:
- Previous experience in warehousing, factory, food production, manufacturing, laundry or labouring is highly regarded
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
- Comfortable lifting, carrying and pushing heavy trolleys
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Able to stand for long periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, KPI-based production environment
- Own car/licence or live within approximately 30 minutes of Footscray by public transport
