About the Role: The Food & Beverage Attendant is a key frontline role responsible for delivering exceptional service across various hospitality settings including the bar, restaurant, room service, conferencing, and events. This position ensures guests enjoy a welcoming and memorable experience through attentive service and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and seat guests, providing menus and assistance as needed.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, accommodating dietary requirements.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Process payments efficiently and handle guest requests with care.
- Promote menu specials and upsell items to enhance guest experience.
- Adhere to safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Work flexibly across shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar hospitality role.
- Sound knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (training provided).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Commitment to delivering results and maintaining high standards.
