Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily banquet and event operations to ensure smooth, high quality service
• Lead, train, and support the banquet team to deliver consistent service standards
• Manage event setup and pack down according to client requirements and event orders
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address service issues promptly
• Coordinate closely with clients, chefs, and event coordinators for seamless execution
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Conduct pre event briefings and post event reviews
• Manage inventory, equipment, and cost controls, including rosters and payroll
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews for banquet staff
• Ensure accurate daily postings and complete detailed post event reports
• Assist other F&B outlets when required

What You'll Bring

• Experience in food and beverage operations, ideally within banquets or events
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to guide, train, and support a diverse team
• A guest focused approach and commitment to delivering high quality service
• Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple events smoothly
• Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene requirements
• Ability to manage basic cost controls, rosters, and inventory
• Professional presentation and adherence to grooming standards
• Flexibility and availability to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
