We are seeking an emergency response champion for the newly created part-time 0.3 EFT position of Emergency Management Coordinator at Eventide Homes (Stawell).
Key responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain our emergency management framework so we comply with Outcome 2.10 – Emergency and disaster management, of the new Strengthened Aged Care Standards.
Work collaboratively with leadership and staff to build emergency response capability and confidence.
Drive emergency preparedness, including planning, training, drills and exercises.
Review lessons learned from incidents, drills and exercises and implement improvements.
Ensure emergency equipment and resources are appropriately maintained and ready for use.
Develop and maintain business continuity plans and arrangements to support continuity of essential services and resident care.
About you
Qualifications and/or experience in emergency management, business continuity, risk management or a related field.
Experience developing emergency plans, policies and procedures and coordinating drills or exercises.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
