What You'll Bring
- 1-2 years' worth of experience in hotels, restaurants, or bistros.
- Solid pastry experience with knowledge of modern and classic pastry techniques including tempering and gelato making.
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff, and manage a section when required.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, can‐do attitude.
- Attention to detail, well‐presented and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain product consistency of all food serviced from the kitchen, following standard recipes and proper portion control across all outlets.
- Prepare and present all required menu items with strong recipe knowledge.
- Maintain excellent food storage, cleanliness, and workplace health and safety standards in all kitchen areas.
- Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs while upholding professional personal grooming and positive team relationships.
