Reporting to the CEO, you will be a trusted adviser to the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic financial and commercial leadership across Finance, ICT, Risk and Governance. You will lead a team of seven, including the Finance Manager and ICT Manager.
A key focus will be evaluating and progressing mergers and acquisitions, identifying opportunities to diversify revenue, developing robust business cases and exploring new service models and commercial opportunities. You will also lead financial strategy, investment oversight, technology-enabled efficiencies and organisational performance.
About you
You are an experienced executive finance leader who combines strong technical financial capability with commercial acumen, strategic judgement and the confidence to influence at Board and executive level.
You will bring:
- Significant senior financial leadership experience in a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated commercial capability and experience identifying growth and diversification opportunities.
- Direct mergers and acquisitions experience, including financial due diligence and assessment of integration risks.
- Strong financial modelling, business case development and strategic planning skills.
- Experience in governance, risk management, financial controls and Board reporting.
- The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence organisational performance and change.
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline, together with CA, CPA or equivalent professional accreditation, are essential.
Experience in disability, health or community services would be advantageous, but is not essential. Estara is interested in attracting outstanding commercial finance leaders who can bring fresh perspectives and the capability to support its future direction.
The opportunity
This is an opportunity to join an organisation at an important point in its development and help translate stronger financial foundations into commercial opportunity, innovation and sustainable growth.
