About the Role
We are seeking an organised, proactive and highly motivated Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team in Frenchs Forest.
This newly created role will coordinate marketing projects, campaigns, new product launches and promotional activity across our portfolio of brands, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Brand Managers, Graphic Design, Sales, Product Development, Finance and Logistics teams, as well as external suppliers, you will keep workflows, approvals, artwork and budgets moving efficiently from brief to shelf.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys project coordination, organisation and working across multiple brands and departments in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate marketing projects, timelines and workflows across multiple brands, campaigns and product launches.
Manage the marketing team calendars, meetings, agendas and action items.
Support new product development and launches from initial brief through to retail-ready execution.
Coordinate artwork, point-of-sale materials and campaign assets with internal teams and suppliers.
Manage marketing material approval processes for pharmacy and grocery customers.
Support the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards and retailer review materials.
Assist with budget tracking, forecasting and advertising and promotion administration.
Upload and maintain accurate product and marketing information in SkuVantage.
Coordinate QR code creation, testing, auditing and tracking.
Maintain project management tools, templates, checklists and sign-off processes.
Provide administrative support for contracts, billing and delivery requests.
Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturers, customers and external field representatives.
Identify process improvements and support a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or similar role.
Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline is desirable, or equivalent practical experience.
FMCG, healthcare or consumer products experience is highly regarded.
Experience supporting new product launches and marketing campaigns.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience using AI tools and exposure to product management are advantageous.
