The opportunity
At EY‑Parthenon, we work at the intersection of strategy, transactions and value creation, advising corporates, private equity investors and governments on their most critical investment decisions. Our Transaction Diligence team goes beyond traditional diligence — partnering with investors and management teams to shape investment theses, assess value creation opportunities and influence deal outcomes across the full transaction lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead buy-side and sell-side Financial Due Diligence engagements for Private Equity transactions
- Analyse financial performance (QoE, working capital, cash flow) to support investment decisions and deal structuring
- Deliver client-ready outputs while managing stakeholder relationships and supporting junior team development
Skills and attributes for success:
- Experience in Private Equity-focused FDD engagements
- Strong exposure to buy-side and sell-side transactions
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to operate in fast-paced deal environments
- Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- CA, ACA, CPA or equivalent
Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes:
- Experience working with PE investors, portfolio companies or lenders
- Ability to translate financial insights into investment recommendations
- Experience mentoring junior team members
