Purpose: Preparation and support with the execution of breeding programs.

Key Accountabilities
- Preparation of the seed lots necessary for the breeding/screening trials.
- Assistance in sowing, monitoring germination after sowing, pricking out and planting.
- Execution of crossing programs and related activities on the instructions of the (Assistant) Breeder.
- Routine seed preparation of disease tests (in cooperation with the Routine Disease Testing team), and routine leaf sample tests for diseases control in the lab and for marker testing.
- Administrative processing of disease/marker test results and seed lots.

Secondary education level (highschool)

Required Certifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
- Computer skills
- Basic proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal preferred
