As a strongly values-led enterprise, staff and operations reflect Green Collect’s values of respect, integrity, inclusiveness, sustainability & reconciliation.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, values-driven Sustainability and ESG Sales Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will drive revenue growth from our corporate and government clients. With your knowledge in ESG procurement and reporting, you will consult and nurture clients to make socially and environmentally driven decisions.

In this hands-on client-facing role, you will lead the customer journey from lead generation and sales pipeline management, through to project quoting, and key account management.

The Ideal Candidate Is:

  • An articulate communicator who easily engages corporate sustainability leaders and government stakeholders.
  • Data-smart, commercially minded, and detail-oriented in creating proposals, quotes, and tracking pipelines.
  • A self-motivated, agile problem solver who navigates tight deadlines with tact and diplomacy.
  • A mission-driven team player who is passionate about zero waste, environmental sustainability, and inclusive employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Corporate & Government Business Development: Proactively identify, nurture, and convert high-value sales opportunities with corporate and government clients aligned with ESG and social procurement frameworks.
  • Manage the Client Journey: Respond to incoming sales queries, build relationships, and maintain sales hygiene using our CRM tool.
  • Prepare Proposals & Quotes: Write winning commercial proposals, create accurate quotes for resource recovery services, and assist with contract preparation.
  • Provide ESG & Circular Economy Expertise: Guide corporate clients on how Green Collect’s services support their ESG reporting, Scope 3 waste reduction targets, and social value metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal Logistics, Processing, and Retail teams to ensure flawless operational delivery and smooth downstream inventory flows.
  • Site Visits & Project Coordination: Conduct client site visits to large-scale collection projects and maintain clear communication throughout the project until completion.

Key Selection Criteria

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience or background in implementing ESG strategies, social procurement, or circular economy practices.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, account management, or business development, with a strong commitment to ethical customer service.
  • Minimum 2 years of tertiary study or qualification in Environmental/Sustainability Management, Environmental Science, Business, or a related discipline.
  • High level of digital literacy, including proficiency with Google Workspace and CRM platforms (experience with HubSpot and Shopify highly regarded).

Why Work With Us?

  • Purpose with Impact: Your day-to-day work directly diverts waste from landfill and creates opportunities for people facing employment barriers.
  • Salary Packaging: As a registered charity/social enterprise, access salary packaging benefits to increase your take-home pay.
  • Workplace Culture: Be part of a warm, collaborative, and inclusive team based in Braybrook.
