About the organisation

EPA works with community, industry and businesses and adapts and responds as the needs of Victorians change. EPA celebrates diversity of people and lifestyles and offers practical options to support both work and personal life.
About the role
As Head of Enterprise Systems, you will lead EPA's enterprise platform capability, with end-to-end accountability for build, test and release across EPA's core enterprise platforms, including the Dynamics CRM roadmap. You will establish and lead a single, unified DevOps model, set technical standards and design authority for enterprise platforms, and manage the division of scope, cost and accountability between EPA and its managed service provider. You will work in partnership across EPA to drive value, productivity and platform performance while providing authoritative advice to the Chief Information Officer and executive on platform strategy, technical risk, total cost of ownership and investment. Reporting to the Director, Technology, Data and Information and leading a team of 6+ direct reports, you will also lead the Enterprise Systems unit through transition to the future operating model and build the capability of its leaders.

You have experience establishing or leading DevOps or product-led delivery models and delivering measurable productivity improvements, ideally within a largely Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem. You bring experience managing major managed services or systems integration partners, including commercial leverage and performance management, and can provide authoritative advice to executives and boards on technical risk, total cost of ownership and investment. You are also experienced in leading technical functions through significant organisational change. Relevant qualifications in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline are highly desirable.
