Enrights Austile is seeking an experienced Tiler to join our team in Rockhampton, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for installing and finishing tiles on walls and floors. We have secured a contract to tile approximately 1000 Villas across Retirement village developments in Rockhampton and Yeppoon. The completion of this contract could take up to 5 years.
What you'll be doing:
- Measuring, cutting, and laying tiles on walls, floors, and other surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Preparing surfaces by applying adhesives, grout, and other materials to ensure proper tile installation.
- Grouting and finishing tiled surfaces to achieve seamless and aesthetically pleasing results.
- Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and design requirements to ensure accurate tile placement.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Using a range of specialised tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring quality control throughout the tiling process and addressing any defects or issues promptly.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Tiler.
- Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using tiling tools and equipment, including tile cutters, grout mixers, and levelling systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering precise, professional finishes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to work.
- Current White Card (construction induction card).
