THE ROLE
- Lead the evening service from the front - setting the tone, managing the pace, and ensuring every guest leaves wanting to come back.
- Create exceptional guest experiences through warm, polished service that feels effortless even when it isn't.
- Support and deputise for the Restaurant Manager across evening shifts, taking full ownership of floor operations.
- Lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture that prioritises guest satisfaction, a proactive mindset and genuine hospitality.
- Drive departmental performance through effective revenue strategies, upselling and meticulous financial controls.
- Build a positive, engaging and results-oriented environment that promotes learning, growth and mutual respect.
- Coach, mentor and develop future leaders within the team.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in a senior floor leadership role within a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant or bar environment.
- Strong evening and late-night hospitality experience - you understand the rhythm of a dinner and drinks service and how to lead through it.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a genuine passion for developing and motivating staff.
- Availability to work evening shifts, weekends and public holidays - this role is built around the evening operation.
- Current Queensland RSA and RMLV (or willingness to obtain).
