Enhanced Engineering is a heavy vehicle engineering shop in Carrum Downs, repairing, modifying and building trucks and equipment for major waste operators and truck body builders.
We're busy and need four experienced fabricators / boilermakers on the floor as soon as possible.
This isn't a training role. You know your trade, read a drawing and get on with the job.
The work
- Repairs and rebuilds on rear lifts, front lifts, hook lifts and compactors
- Chassis extensions, wheelbase changes and body mounting
- Custom steel - tailgates, brackets, tanks and truck body components
- Fabricating from drawings and cut-and-fold parts off our own laser and press brake
What we need
- Qualified, experienced boilermaker, fabricator or welder - no apprentices
- Strong MIG welding on structural and plate steel
- Reads engineering drawings and measures accurately
- Waste industry or heavy vehicle experience - a big advantage
- Works well in a team, takes ownership and doesn't need chasing
- Reliable every day - 6:00 am start
- Forklift licence and HR licence a plus; full working rights in Australia
