Accounts Receivable Officer | Administration Team | Full Time
Engineering Applications is a Brisbane-based mechanical engineering firm leading in the Design, Fabrication, Installation and Maintenance of process plant & equipment for the mining, food, industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Due to organisation growth, we are looking to engage the services of an experienced Accounts Receivable & Accounts Officer to join our experienced finance team in Hemmant. The role will be full-time Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will join a thriving company with a high performing and multi-skilled finance and administration team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following;
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly and monthly invoicing
- Debt collection
- Liaising with project coordinators regarding invoicing and collection matters
- Daily Bank reconciliations
- Management of relationships with suppliers and relevant stakeholders
- Provide accounting support to the Financial Controller
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks

- Excellent efficiency, accuracy and data entry skills
- Organised, reliable and willing to learn other tasks as needed
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong communication skills to liaise with external clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to meet month end deadlines
- Diligent work ethic and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Work in a fast paced, high-volume environment
