About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Scaffolder to join an industrial site operation in Gove, Northern Territory, with an ASAP start.
This role is offered as an initial 3-month assignment, with the intention of transitioning to permanent employment for the right candidate, subject to suitability and business requirements.
The opportunity offers a 3:1 roster, 10-hour days Monday to Saturday, camp-style accommodation, meals and paid outbound flight travel from Brisbane or Cairns.
The Role
- Position: Advanced Scaffolder – 1 vacancy
- Location: Gove, Northern Territory
- Start: ASAP
- Tenure: Initial 3 months, with the intention of transitioning to permanent employment
- Roster: 3:1 roster, working 10-hour days, Monday to Saturday
- Pay Rate: $43.65 per hour ordinary rate, plus applicable site agreement penalties
- Accommodation & Meals: Provided in camp-style accommodation
- Mobilisation Airports: Brisbane or Cairns only
- Travel: Outbound flight travel to site paid for
Approximate flight time to Gove is 4 hours from Brisbane and 2 hours from Cairns.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Advanced Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence – essential.
- At least one additional licence: Forklift, LR, MR or HR.
- The ability to work safely and effectively in an industrial site environment.
- A strong commitment to safety, procedures and site requirements.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful candidates will need to complete the required onboarding and compliance checks, including:
- Site and company inductions covering safety and fleet requirements.
- A pre-employment medical, with a valid medical completed within the last two years required.
