We're building the team to deliver the civil and electrical balance of plant (BoP), including site preparation, integration of Valo battery technology, a 275 kV substation and overhead transmission lines.
We're seeking an experienced Environment Consultant to support environmental management across the Teebar project, working closely with project leaders, construction teams and contractors to identify and manage environmental risks, ensure compliance and drive positive environmental outcomes.
Day to day, you will:

- Provide practical environmental advice to project leaders, construction teams and subcontractors.
- Monitor environmental compliance through site inspections, audits and contractor performance reviews.
- Coordinate environmental incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with clients, regulators and specialist consultants to ensure project and legislative requirements are met.
This is a site-based role on an 18-month fixed-term contract, working a 10 days on, 4 days off Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roster, with travel on days 1 and 10. Ideally, you'll be based in the Fraser Coast region, including Maryborough or Hervey Bay. We're also open to candidates from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas who are comfortable with the DIDO roster travel to site.
About you:
You're an experienced environmental professional who enjoys being on site, working with construction teams and taking ownership of environmental outcomes. Confident and proactive, you bring a practical approach to managing environmental risks, influencing stakeholders and navigating the demands of major project delivery.
To be successful, you'll bring:

- Strong understanding of Queensland environmental legislation, approvals and compliance requirements, including environmental risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective action management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence construction teams and contractors.
- Experience in energy infrastructure, renewable energy projects or environmental auditing will be highly regarded.
