This role

We're looking for a super talented Midweight Designer to join our in-house agency, Hero Collective. You've got solid experience under your belt and a sharp design eye, especially across digital, brand, and motion.

Your key focus areas will be:

• Collaborative Creative Team - Work closely with motion designers, copywriters, illustrators, and art directors to produce engaging, scroll-stopping content.
• Brand Elevation - Design with purpose to strengthen and evolve the brand while keeping things fun.
• Innovation & Experimentation - Explore and integrate new tools, especially in tech and AI, to push creative boundaries.
• Impactful Design - Craft beautiful, thoughtful designs that deliver real results.

This will include:

• Push creative boundaries with AI - You don't just use AI to move faster. You use it to unlock new ideas, workflows, and creative outcomes.
• Think in motion - You've got a motion mindset. You understand how things move, feel, and flow.
• Collaborate like a pro - You'll work closely with other creatives, marketers, and product folks to bring projects to life.
• Push the brand, don't just follow it - You'll help evolve our brand toolkit, suggest fresh takes, and bring a designer's eye to how we show up in the world.

Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you'll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you'll also bring:

• 3-5 years of design experience, ideally split between the agency hustle and in-house pace.
• A folio that is smart, stunning, brand-led and unapologetically digital-first.
• Ability to spot good design and back it up with intentional, thoughtful decisions.
• Experience with AI as a tool in your workflow.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro.
• Experience in motion design, whether storyboarding or collaborating.
• Design experience across various mediums: digital, socials, ads, web, email, OOH, print, merch, events.
• Balance pixel-perfect detail with big-picture thinking.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to create wireframes and flows.
• Curiosity, proactivity, and fearlessness in trying fresh ideas or pushing brand boundaries with tech.
