Emerge Fire is an established and growing fire protection company specialising in the design and construction of wet and dry fire protection systems across major commercial, healthcare, infrastructure, industrial and residential developments.
Due to our continued growth and expanding project portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fire protection projects from initial design coordination through to construction, commissioning and final handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage multiple fire protection projects from commencement to completion
- Coordinate with builders, consultants, subcontractors and internal design teams
- Oversee project programming, procurement, budgets and resources
- Manage project variations, progress claims and contractual requirements
- Attend site meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, NCC requirements and project specifications
- Monitor construction progress, quality, safety and commissioning activities
- Identify and resolve technical and commercial issues proactively
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the Australian fire protection industry.
- Previous experience in project management within the fire services sector.
- Strong knowledge of wet and/or dry fire protection systems.
- Sound understanding of relevant Australian Standards and construction practices.
- Experience working on medium to large commercial construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines.
- Experience in managing budgets, variations, procurement and subcontractors.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
