What your day will look like:
- Assist in routine maintenance and servicing of heavy mining equipment, including oil and filter changes.
- Record, report, and document equipment issues, damages, and servicing activities accurately.
- Perform refuelling operations on mining equipment as directed.
- Identify and report potential hazards, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including the mine's SHMS, and promote a strong safety culture.
- Assist withongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco’s heavy earthmoving fleet.
- Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others
What we’ll need from you:
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Previous experience as a Service Person in mining/civil industry
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and a current National Police Check.
