This is a rare opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who enjoys developing people just as much as delivering great technical outcomes.
You’ll take ownership of a growing design function, providing leadership, direction and mentoring to a team of engineers while remaining involved in the delivery of complex electrical engineering projects. Team leadership experience is a critical requirement for the role, and you will be required to demonstrate this capability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading, mentoring and developing a team of electrical design engineers
Driving a culture of accountability, collaboration and technical excellence
Managing the delivery of engineering designs to agreed scope, budget and schedule
Working closely with clients and stakeholders to define and refine project requirements
Supporting the successful delivery of complex electrical, automation and control systems projects
Providing technical leadership and guidance across the project lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrated experience leading and managing engineering teams
Strong background in electrical design engineering at a senior or principal level
Experience delivering projects within sectors such as energy, utilities, transport, manufacturing, resources or industrial automation
Excellent stakeholder engagement and client management skills
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
Eligibility for engineering registration in South Australia
Australian Citizenship is required
