The Opportunity
EMAC Joinery is seeking an experienced and proactive Factory Manager with strong leadership skills, a hands‑on approach and a commitment to operational excellence.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day factory operations, leading our skilled manufacturing team to deliver high‑quality custom joinery efficiently, safely and on schedule.
This is an opportunity for a capable leader who can balance production demands with quality, team performance and continuous improvement, while fostering a positive and accountable workplace culture.
Key responsibilities will include:

Managing production workflow, job priorities and completion schedules to meet project deadlines.

Leading and overseeing a team of highly skilled tradespeople.

Coordinating labour, machinery and resources to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.

Maintaining quality assurance standards and reducing rework, errors and material wastage.

Ensuring workplace health and safety standards are consistently maintained.

Monitoring team performance, setting clear expectations and promoting accountability.

Working collaboratively with Operations Team to ensure accurate information, efficient workflows and smooth production.

Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and overall factory performance.
You will be trusted to manage your time and priorities within clear objectives, taking ownership of outcomes while working collaboratively with the wider management team.
What you'll bring

Demonstrated experience in joinery manufacturing, cabinetry or a related industry, with leadership or supervisory experience.

The ability to interpret shop drawings and understand joinery manufacturing requirements.
