About the role

The Social & Paid Media Lead is responsible for driving Ela & Earth's organic and paid social presence.

This role blends hands-on strategic and creative planning with the execution of paid Meta advertising.

The role also works closely with our Social Media + Creative Assistant and our Influencer + Affiliate Coordinator to provide direction on content needs.

This role is both creative and performance-driven, playing a key part in brand growth, customer acquisition, and revenue.

• Required skills and experience
• 2 + years of experience in social media and content creation
• 1 + year of experience in Meta ads
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok and emerging social platforms
• Experience creating high-performing organic and paid social content
• Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and paid social fundamentals
• Strong creative eye with an understanding of brand storytelling
• Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on
• Highly organised with strong project and time management skills
• Confidence leading and mentoring team members
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and e-commerce teams
• Must be an Australian resident
• What this role involves
• Social Media & Content
• Work closely alongside our Social Media + Creative Assistant to oversee and strategise our organic social content across Instagram, Tik Tok and other relevant platforms
• Provide strategic oversight of the social content calendar, ensuring it aligns with launches, promotions and key brand moments
• Lead content ideation, trend tracking, hooks and storytelling to drive engagement and growth
• Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, visual identity and commercial objectives
• Work closely with internal teams to capture product, lifestyle and behind-the-scenes content
• Paid Social (Meta Ads)
• Own the day-to-day setup and execution of Meta ad campaigns, and assist with paid ads strategy (with ongoing learning and support provided)
• Create, test and iterate ad creatives, audiences and messaging
• Monitor performance and contribute to optimisation and testing discussions
• Collaborate with management to continue building paid media capability
• Support paid campaign execution for launches, promotions and evergreen activity
• Work alongside the Influencer & Affiliate Coordinator to provide clear direction on content needs, briefs and campaign priorities
• Collaborate closely to maximise UGC output, reach and efficiency
• Contribute to social and paid media strategy aligned with broader marketing goals
• Track and report on key metrics, including engagement, growth and content performance
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, output and overall results
