About the Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team as Restaurant Team Members, working in Back of House (BOH).
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you’ll work alongside a great team, keep the energy high, and help create memorable experiences for our guests.
Cooking experience at home would be an advantage, or experience in other hospitality jobs.
Please note that applicants must be able to work weekdays between the hours of 10am & 4pm, with availability across at least two weekdays.
Hospitality roles in quick-service restaurants can be mentally and physically demanding.
It's highly recommended that staff possess a strong organisational mindset and are physically fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on your role, your responsibilities may include
Back of House (BOH)
- Preparing menu items such as burgers, rolls, salads and fried products
- Cooking freezer‑to‑fryer items in line with safety and quality standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in kitchen and prep areas
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils and equipment
- Following WHS requirements and reporting hazards or incidents
- Packing and preparing orders for takeaway & dine‑in
Charcoal/Fried Cook
- Setting up and operating the charcoal pit safely and correctly
- Cooking and basting charcoal chicken to El Jannah recipe and quality standards
- Portioning, rotating, and preparing chicken for service
- Monitoring cook times, temperatures, and product quality
- Keeping the charcoal station, tools, and surrounding areas clean and organised
- Preparing and cooking chicken in deep fryers
- Supporting service flow during busy periods
- Following food safety, WHS requirements, and reporting hazards or incidents
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great guest experience
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
- Operating dishwashing equipment safely and correctly
- Keeping dishwashing, kitchen, and waste areas clean and organised
- Supporting food prep and service teams by ensuring clean equipment is always available
- Assisting with basic kitchen cleaning tasks as required
- Following food safety and WHS requirements at all times
- Reporting hazards, faults, or incidents to the manager on duty
- Supporting smooth service flow during busy periods
