EEA Advisory is looking for a Client Services Officer to join our wealth management team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients and the backbone of our advice process, working closely with our financial advisers to deliver a seamless, professional client experience.

We hire for attitude as much as experience. If you’re positive, curious and accountable, and you like finding solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do, we’d love to hear from you. This role suits a recent graduate, or an early-career professional (year 3 and above), who wants to build a long-term career in financial planning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, managing phone, email and in-person enquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Prepare client files, forms and documentation ahead of advice, review and annual client meetings.
  • Prepare and process application forms, risk insurance, superannuation, investment and platform paperwork, and follow up to completion.
  • Liaise with clients and third parties such as product providers, platform administrators, insurers, accountants and solicitors.
  • Maintain accurate client data, records and file notes in XPlan, in line with compliance requirements.
  • Support advisers in client meetings, including preparing agendas and reports and documenting outcomes and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with the preparation of statements of advice, review documents and client reports.
  • Coordinate advice implementation, tracking requests and progress to ensure timely client outcomes.
  • Anticipate issues, resolve problems at the source and escalate early with a proposed solution.
  • Contribute to compliance, ethical and quality standards, including file reviews and audit readiness.

About you:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and the energy to get stuck in, even when the work is repetitive or the day is busy.
  • A problem-solving mindset: you work out the issue, think through your options and come to the table with a solution, not just a question.
  • Initiative and ownership: you take responsibility for your work, follow things through to completion and speak up early when something isn't right.
  • A genuine interest in people and the warmth, empathy and professionalism to build trust with clients at every stage of life.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, particularly with client documents and data.
  • Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn, take on feedback and keep developing your technical knowledge.
  • Integrity and a sound understanding of ethics and confidentiality in a professional services environment.
  • A Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Planning or a related degree), or similar tertiary qualification, completed or near completion.

A supportive team and a genuine career progression pathway in wealth management. Hands-on exposure to the full advice process, from client onboarding through to implementation and review. Training in our systems and processes from day one.
