The HeightsTechnical College is co-located with The HeightsSchool and offers four industry training programsincluding Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering,Aeroskills, Building & Construction and EarlyChildhood & Education, which will support studentsin years 10 to 12 to complete their SACE whileundertaking vocational education and training (VET)in state-of-the-art specialistfacilities.

About theRole
We’re lookingfor teachers who:
- Arepassionate about supporting all learners todevelop and grow their literacy & numeracyskills that aligns to studentpathways
- Have anability to work in collaboration with teachers,RTOs, Universities and Employers to plan anddevelop innovative and contextualised literacy& numeracy programs to meet industryneeds
- Haveexperience in developing programs utilisingstudent agency and be able to support learnersrequiring additional support and stretch intheir learning
- Have anunderstanding of PBL or other innovativemethodologies to engage students and supporthigh level outcomes
- Can plan,develop and implement innovative literacy andnumeracy opportunities aligned to studentpathways
- Have a deepunderstandingof SACE Literacy or Numeracyrequirements and the flexibilities affordedthrough the subject outlines
What you’llneed
- Relevantteaching qualification and registration withthe Teachers Registration Board of SouthAustralia
- Demonstratedability to create a positive and inclusiveclassroom environment
- Strongcommunication and relationship-building skillswith students, families andcolleagues
- Relevantexperience in either of the followingindustries is desirable Advanced Manufacturing& Engineering, Aeroskills, Building &Construction and Early Childhood &Education
