Position Descriptor: Ernabella Anangu School is one of eight Anangu schools situated in the far northwest corner of South Australia in the Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands. Ernabella is the largest communities in the APY Lands, home to the world-famous Ernabella Art Centre. The Ernabella community is in the western Musgrave Ranges, west of the Stuart Highway, 330 kilometres south-west of Alice Springs. Our school is focused on high quality, dynamic and culturally responsive education, our students will be empowered to choose their destiny and determine their future. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching in a remote bilingual setting. Educators work in teaching teams comprising of Teachers, Anangu Educators and SSOs to deliver Australian Curriculum and contextual/cultural learning to students. The school supports a 2-way, culturally focussed approach to teaching and learning.

In addition to the salary, the following financial incentives apply:
- Country Zone Allowance of $10,000 approx
- Locality Allowance of $10,000 approx
- Fully Subsidised Accommodation including all utilities (may be shared)
- Removal and Relocation expenses
- Four paid travel days per term
- Travel and accommodation costs for medical and dental treatment

To ensure employer compliance of duty of care responsibilities given the unique environment of the APY Lands, a wellness check will be conducted for any Teacher nominated for this position and prior to any offer of employment. Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
